Kolkata experiences humid day

Kolkata, Jul 21 (UNI) Humid day prevailed even today in the city, bringing discomfort to the people.

Met office recorded maximum temperature of 29.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum recorded was 26.9 degrees Celsius.

According to the local weather office, maximum relative humidity was 95 per cent and the minimum was 87 per cent.

Rainfall stood at 1.6 mm.

Met department predicted cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thunder showers in and around the city.
