Indignified comment on Sikh, FIR lodged
Muzaffarnagar, July 21 (UNI) A case has been registered here against three postal department employees, including the post master, for allegedly passing objectionable comments on a Sikh.
The FIR was lodged at the Khatauli police station on the orders of the court.
According to police, Harvinder Singh of Khatauli made several rounds of the post office to encash his Kisan Vikas Patra, but in vain.
On June 8, Harvinder again went to the post office, however post master Yamin and two others made fun of him and passed indignified comments.
Taking umbrage on it, Harvinder tried to lodge an FIR, but could not succeed. Finally, he took refuge in court.
The case was under investigation.
