Explosives seized, one held

Coimbatore, July 21 (UNI) The State Q Branch Police today seized explosives from a farm at Udayakulam near Anamalai here and arrested one person in this connection.

Police said on information they seized 417 gelatine sticks, 200 detonators and 40 kg Ammonium Nitrate stored unauthorisedly in a farm and arrested Raghu Krishnam (45). On interrogation he revealed that he had purchased them from Kerala to dig a well.

He was remanded to judicial custody, police added.
