Eve-teased, girl immolates self

Lucknow, July 21 (UNI) A teenaged girl immolated herself in Shahjahanpur (City) Kotwali area here after being mocked at post an eve-teasing incident.

Neelam (18) doused herself with kerosene yesterday and set herself afire. She was taken to hospital, where she succumbed today, police said.

On July 18, Neelam was eve-teased by a youth. Later, the local people started making fun of her.

Meanwhile three people, including the accused youth, has been booked and a search to nab them launched.
