Engineering student found murdered

Thane, July 21 (UNI) A 21-year-old engineering student Snehal Gawre was found smothered to death and her body was recovered in her own house at Dombivali here.

The body was found stuffed in the storage space of a bed in the house, police said.

Snehal's parents had lodged a complaint with the police saying Snehal has been missing since July 19. However, yesterday, when Snehal's mother rummaged through the clothes in the storage space of the bed, she discovered Snehal's body.

Snehal was gagged and done to death and her body dumped in the storage space of the bed, police said.
