Bail granted to 2 Coimbatore bomb blast accused
Coimbatore, July 21 (UNI) A Special Court here today granted bail to M Naushad and N Sardar, allegedly involved in the serial bomb blasts which had rocked the city on February 14, 1998.
Special Judge K Uthirapathy granted bail on a surety of Rs 10,000 each and on conditions of regular attendance of trial, not mingling with other blast accused and not giving interview to the media.
The Judge had reserved his judgement in the case for August 1.
Naushad is accused No 122, while Sardar is the 123rd accused.
The serial blasts had left 57 people dead and 316 injured, besides damaging property worth over Rs 4.46 crore.
