Aricent to open Global Training Centre in Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Jul 21 (UNI) Software company Aricent will soon set up a Global Training Centre and Development Centre here, according to its Chairman Manoranjan Mohapatra.

Mr Mohapatra, who met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his secretariat chamber here yesterday, proposed to establish a Global Training and a Development Centre.

The chief minister had also agreed to provide all assistance to the software company for the development of information technology in the state.

Mr Mohapatra said while the Development Centre would employ 1200 software engineers, the Global Training Centre during the first phase would impart training to nearly a thousand students and later provide training facilities to about 3000 people.
