AP Governor greets Ms Pratibha

Hyderabad, July 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur today conveyed his felicitations and greetings to President-elect Ms Pratibha Patil on her victory with a thumping majority.

In a message here Mr Thakur said, ''it is a matter of great honour for the nation to elect a woman as its President.'' ''Ms Patil's landslide victory is a fitting salute to the Indian woman,'' he added.
