5 killed in road accident

Banda, July 21 (UNI) At least five persons were killed and eight others grievously injured in a truck-jeep collision in Baberu area here today.

The accident took place on Banda-Baberu highway near Murval village. The injured, including two women, had been admitted to hospital.

Meanwhile, Police Superintendent K Satyanarayan had reached the spot. Further details are awaited.
