Women score over men here

Agra, July 20 (UNI) Gone are the days when women used to sob and sacrifice, now men do.

For male chauvinists, it is hard to believe. But, according to latest figures, women are dominating men in the Taj city of Uttar Pradesh.

According to figures available at a family court, the number of cases where men were being harassed both mentally and physically by their better halves were mushrooming fast.

According to sources in the court, it received a number of cases where hapless men complained of being harassed by their domineering and dominatrix wives.

In 2005, 550 cases were filed by victim husbands against their life partners, while in 2006, the number rose to 640.

Till July 13 this year, 475 cases had been registered against women by their husbands.

However, nearly 176 wives complained of being tortured by their husbands.
