Wanted criminal arrested

Ghazipur, July 20 (UNI) Police today arrested a wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs 2,500 on his head under Khanpur area here.

Police Superintendent Tarun Gaba said Lalji Bhar was arrested from Khanpur, about 40 kms from the district headquarters.

He had about 23 cases of heinous crimes, including loot, murder and dacoity, registered against him in Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Varanasi and Azamgarh districts.
