Vigilance opens and seals another locker of Chahal's family

Patiala, July 20 (UNI) The Vigilance Bureau today opened another locker of B I S Chahal, former media adviser for former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh, in the State Bank of Patiala brach situated at Leela Bhawan market.

According to Vigilance sources a jewellery set weighing about 176.69 grams was found in the locker which was in the name of Jaswinder Kaur Chahal and Kamaljit Kaur Chahal, wife and daughter-in-law respectively of Chahal.

The Vigilance sealed the jewellery in another locker 10 of the same branch.

Chahal is currently in judicial custody in the disproportionate assets case registered by the police. He has got bail in two cheating and forgery cases registered against him by the Patiala police.

Meanwhile Chief Judicial magistrate S S Panser today reserved the order till July 23 to decide facilities to be given to B I S Chahal in jail.
