VHP for nationwide agitation against destruction of Ramasetu

Hubli, July 20 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) today threatened to launch a nationwide agitation if an attempt was made to break the 'Ramasetu' for constructing the Sethusamudram Channel Project.

Addressing a press conference here, VHP International Working President Vedanatam said a two-day meeting of 'Dharmacharyas' to be held at New Delhi on July 25 and 26 would chalkout the course of action in this regard.

He said the government, which had changed several programmes following protest and interests of the minorities could easily consider the opinion of the majority community.
