Two suspended for placing train on wrong track

Agra, July 20 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, passengers visited a site of surprise when they landed at different destination due to laxity of railways personnel.

Station controller and deputy station manager were suspended with immediate affect for dereliction of duty.

Patna-Agra-Ajmer bound holiday special train, whose last destination was Ajmer, mistakenly reached Bandikui late last night.

Passengers created ruckus after they got notice of such a major fault. Railways officials at Bandikui also had a shock to see a different train than the scheduled one.

Agra control room and senior officials were immediately apprised of the situation.
