Trains diverted or cancelled due to derailment of goods train

Kolkata, Jul 20 (UNI) Several trains of South Eastern Railways have either been diverted or cancelled after a goods train derailed between Chakradharpur and Borobamboo late last night.

The SE Railway PRO today told UNI here, ''The goods train got derailed at around 0130 hours today, as a result of which the lines of both the up and down routes of the section was blocked.'' ''Work was on at a warfooting to restore normal operations,'' he said.

As a result, 2130 Up Azad Hind Express, 2810 Up Mumbai Mail via Nagpur, 2102 Up Gynasweri Express and 2834 UP Ahmedabad express.

scheduled to leave Howrah will go on a diverted route of Chandi-Muri-Hati-Rourkella.

Similarly, 8029 Down Kurla express, 2859 Gitanjali express, 2833 Ahmedabad express are reaching howrah on the same diverted route.

2871 Up and 2572 Down Ispat express from howrah and Sambhalpur respectively have,however,been cancelled till now.
