Proposal to take action against erring builders: Civic Chief

Mumbai, July 20 (UNI) The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation administration will present a proposal before the Standing committee of the corporation, that will take action on builders who do not follow the norms set by the corporation.

Speaking to reporters today, Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Jairaj Phatak said that the proposal has been worked upon by the administration for a long time and will be presented in the Standing Committee very soon for clearance.

The proposal will have very strict guideline to be followed by the builders. Appropriate action will be taken against the builders who do not follow the guidelines, Mr Phatak said.
