Photo journalist killed in road accident

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh 20 (UNI) A photo journalist was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a moped on the Kolkata-Chennai National Highway here late last night.

Police today said 35-year-old T Prasad was coming to Eluru from Vijayawada, when the mishap occurred.

He was rushed to the University General Hospital in Vijayawada where he succumbed to injuries this morning.

Mr Prasad worked as a photographer in Eenadu, ETV satellite channel and local dailies.

Indian Journalist Union National Council Members M Srihari Rao, and K Manikyala Rao, Andhra Pradesh Union Working Journalist district president and others expressed their condolences to the bereaved family members.
