PC sales in Asia ex-Japan up 22 pct y/y in Q2 - IDC

SHANGHAI, July 20 (Reuters) Personal computer sales in Asia excluding Japan rose 22 per cent year-on-year to 14.3 million units in the second quarter of 2007, according to preliminary data released on Friday.

Lenovo Group's market share grew to 20.7 per cent in the second quarter, up from 17.7 per cent in the previous quarter, a rise of 28.2 percent year-on-year, according to research firm International Data Corp.
