Neyveli Lignite Q1 net up 20.44 pc

New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) Country's largest lignite mining company Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd today said its net profit had increased by 20.44 per cent at Rs 281.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 223.84 crore during the same period a year ago.

The company's total icome also shot up by 21.67 per cent at Rs 925.93 crore for Q1 FY07 against Rs 761.01 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.
