MLA's son and SDO reach a compromise

Fatehgarh Sahib, July 20 (UNI) Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Jaswant Singh who had complained yesterday that Sirhind MLA Didar Singh Bhatt's son Gurwinder Singh Bhatti and his accomplices had manhandled him, today withdrew the charge after reaching a compromise.

As per the directions of Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Nilabh Kishore, SP (Headquarter) Preetpal Singh Virk had started inquiry into the SDO's complaint and recorded his statement this morning.

However, later Panchyati Raj SDO Association, Punjab president Ranjit Singh said that Didar Singh Bhatti and his son later reached the Zila Parishad office and expressed regret over the incident in the presence of other senior officers of district administration.

Mr Ranjit Singh said that the association was satisfied as a written compromise was made.

Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Nilabh Kishore confirmed that the complainant had taken back his complaint.
