Man shot at, robbed of Rs 25,000

Gonda, July 20 (UNI) A man was today shot at and robbed of Rs 25,000 by unidentified miscreants in Intiathok area of the district.

Police said Nankau Mishra of Gopalpur village was returning home after withdrawing Rs 25,000 from a bank.

He was accosted by two miscreants near Saryu canal bridge, who shot him.

The criminals fled the scene with the money bag leaving Mishra wounded on the road.

Meanwhile, a case was registered and investigations were on.
