Man accused of molesting child denied bail

Mumbai, July 20 (UNI) A local court today rejected the bail application of a man accused of molesting a two-year-old boy at MIDC area, Andheri.

Additional sessions judge V B Patil rejected the bail application of Anil Babu (37).

Earlier, additional public prosecutor Mohan Sawant opposed the application on the ground that the accused could try to influence the witnesses if granted bail. He further pointed out that a magistrate court had already rejected the bail application.

The man had on March 23 this year, allegedly lured his neighbour's two-year-old boy with chocolates and then molested him.
