Kalam visits SC; meets CJI

New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam today visited the Supreme Court to meet Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan and other judges.

The President arrived at the apex court at about 1600 hrs and remained with the judges for about an hour where a tea party was arranged in his honour.

With Mr Kalam's term ending on July 24, it will be his last visit to the court as head of the Indian state.

Mr Kalam had paid a visit to the court in 2002 also after taking over as the President.
