Srinagar, July 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Assembly speaker Tara Chand today assured the members that action would be initiated against those government officers who failed to implement the recommendations of the House.

'' I assure you that I will take action against the officers and officials who will be found guilty of not implementing the orders and recommendation of this house'', Mr Chand told the House.

The assurance from the speaker came after Panthers Party (PP) member Haresh Dev Singh alleged that not a single recommendation of this house and assurance from the ministers has been implemented.

Mr Singh said it was for the first time in the history of the state assembly that a session was called for only two-days.

How can we do justice, every member has to raise the issue of his constituency beside other important issues, he said adding this was not possible in just two days when the first day yesterday took the obituary references.

He said the ministers should also be taken to task who has failed to implement the assurances given to this house.

Mr Dev demanded legal action against the ministers and officers who dis-honoured the recommendations of the house.

He said despite assurance to issue Dogra certificate, nothing has been done so far.

However, order restored in the house after assurance from the speaker to take against the guilty officers.
