Jalandhar passport office goes online

Jalandhar, Jul 20 (UNI) The Jalandhar Passport Office has gone online, Passport Officer Amarjit Singh said here today.

The Passport Officer said that online registration of passport applications would be applicable for fresh passports, lost or damaged passports, passports for minor applicants and passports re-issued for general public.

He said the registration could be made by accessing the website http://passport.gov.in.

Mr Singh said after online registration, the applicant would be required to submit his or her computer generated application form personally along with enclosures and the required fee at the counter concerned of the passport office on the date issued on-line.
