HP Government re-imposes ban on transfers
Shimla, Jul 20 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government today re-imposed a ban on all transfers in the state, a month after it had lifted it on June 12, an official spokesman said.
The government has decided to ban all transfers or adjustments by any department, board and corporation during the period.
The spokesman said transfer orders, if any, should be obtained after receiving prior approval of the Chief Minister through the concerned Minister-in-Charge.
The prior approval of the Chief Minister would be necessary to fill up vacant posts in the tribal and difficult areas, vacancies arising due to retirement, promotion and creation of new posts, he added.
