Grenade blast in Srinagar near Legislative complex

Srinagar, July 20: Five persons were injured in a grenade blast at Hari Singh High Street (HSHS), less than half a kilometre away from the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative complex where the Assembly is in session.

Official sources said unidentified militants hurled a hand grenade towards a security force bunker at HSHS on the bank of the river Jehlum.

It exploded causing injuries to five persons.

An eyewitness said he saw two persons, bleeding, fell near his shop.
