Goods-train derails near Nagpur
Nagpur, July 20 (UNI) A goods-train today derailed near Chakradharpur station of south-east central railway (SECR).
11 wagons of a goods train derailed between Chakradharpur and Badabamboo station of SECR in the wee hours, damaging both the up and down tracks. As a result, several trains on the Nagpur-Howrah route were diverted via Tatanagar, Muri, Hatia, Rourkela and Bilaspur were running behind the schedule, central railway (CR) said.
The diverted trains include 2130 Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express, 2810 Howrah-Mumbai Mail, 2102 Howrah-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Dnyaneshwari Express and 2834 Howrah-Ahmedabad Express, all of which were running four to five hours late, the CR added.
