Gold, Silver firm on strong global advices

Mumbai, July 20: Spot Gold and Silver today ruled firm on sustained ornament makers demand in view of encouraging advices from global markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,200 (18,160), Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,865 (8,825) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,915 (8,875)
