UP: Girl shot dead by unidentified assailants

Lucknow, July 20: A girl was shot dead by some unidentified assailants for resisting chain snatching at Gorakhpur late last night, police said today.

The incident took place when a few miscreants tried to snatch Anamika Tiwari's gold chain. On resistence they released trigger at her and fled the scene.

A case had been registered and search was on to nab the culprits.
