Election to 14 cooperative societies on August 5

Eluru, July 20 (UNI) District Cooperative Officer (DCO), West Godavari P Rammohan, today issued notification to hold elections to 14 Cooperative Societies on August five.

Nominations for the elections would be received till July 27 and the scrutiny would be taken up the next day. The last date for withdrawal of nominations was July 29 and the counting of votes would be taken up after the polling, he told newspersons here today.

Mr Rammohan said election officers have already been appointed to oversee the polling, which included KPDT High School Employees Cooperative Credit Society, District Information and Public Relations Employees Cooperative Credit Society, SMNO High School Employees Cooperative Credit Society, Garlamadugu Agricultural Employees Cooperative Credit Society and Divisional Agricultural Employees Cooperative Credit Society.
