DTC, Whiteline hit motorcycles, 4 injured

New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) Three persons, including a 6-year-old and a woman, were injured when a DTC bus hit a motorcycle in Bawana area of North-West Delhi this morning.

While the condition of Sandeep (20), admitted to the LNJP Hospital was said to be serious, his mother Sheela (40) and sister Ashu (6) were released after given first aid, said the police.

The accident took place at Auchandi village at about 0900 hrs.

Chand Singh, the driver of the bus plying on route no 106 (Qutubgarh to Old Delhi), has been arrested.

In a similar incident in Dwarka area of South-West Delhi, 30-year-old Ajay Balucha, was injured after a Whiteline hit his motorcycle at Sector 7-8 'T' Point at about 0930 hrs.

Resident of Sant Nagar, Balucha works at the IGI Airport.

The driver of the bus Shiv Manorath has been arrested.
