CME on vascular diseases at BHU from July 28
Varanasi, July 20 (UNI) Eminent vascular surgeons from the country will address a two-day Continued Medical Education (CME) on vascular diseases starting at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU) from July 28 next.
Vasculocon -- the CME to be conducted by the Department of General Surgery, IMS-BHU in association with Uttar Pradesh Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India and Vascular Society of India will witness eminent vascular surgeons of the country adressing 150 delegates on recent advances in vascular surgery.
The eminent speakers include Rajiv Parikh, Ashok Gupta, K K Pandey, Rakesh Mahajan, Sudhir Rai (all from New Delhi), Ramakant (Lucknow), Pankaj Patel (Mumbai) and P C Gupta (Hyderabad), IMS-BHU sources said here yesterday.
On the first day of the CME, a total of 10 guest lectures on various aspects of arterial and venous diseases will be organised, while on the second and concluding day, hands on training workshop will enable the delegates, including residents of General Surgery Department to perform vascular suturing and anastomosis on animal cadavers.
