Hyderabad, July 20 (UNI) Impressed with the conduct of the proceedings in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today was all praise for Speaker K R Suresh Reddy for having so much ''patience at a young age.'' Intervening during Question Hour, the chief minister, who keenly observed the Speaker striving his best to persuade the opposition party members to bring order in the House which often witnessed uproarious scenes, told the State Assembly ''people are asking me how is it that the Speaker, though very young, is having so much patience while dealing with the opposition.'' ''It is improper to attribute motives to the decisions of the Speaker,'' the chief minister said after TDP Legislative Party Deputy Leader T Devender Goud cast aspersions on the Chair, when the Speaker reminded that as per the practice, only a single supplimentary question would be allowed after 0930 hrs.

Mr Goud, taking the mike on the pretext of making a protest and then making a long speech instead, was ''unjustifiable'', Dr Reddy maintained.

Later clarifying his position, Mr Goud said he had highest regard for the Speaker. He only expected the Chair not to take sides with the ruling party but assist the Opposition in discharging its responsibility of raising issues of public concern.
