Chattisgarh Gov offers worship in Tirumala
Tirupati, July 20: Chattisgarh Governor E S L Narasimhan today offered worship to Lord Balaji in Tirumala.
Mr Narasimhan, who arrived here with his family on a two-day visit to Tirumala and Tirupati from Chennai by road last night was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam(TTD) officials.
TTD EO KV Ramachary presented prasadams and Lord Venkateswara's photo to the Governor.
After offering worship to goddess Padmavathi in Tiruchnoor, Mr Narasimhan inaugurated the 65th annual festival of music and dance at Thyagaraja Trust premises in the evening.
After an overnight stay in Tirupati, he will leave for Chennai on the following morning.
