New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) The joint forum of BSNL Unions and Association of Non-Executives and Executives has expressed its total dissatisfaction and anguish over the decisions of the BSNL board in curtailing the GSM tender to half and has hinted that indefinite strike is still on agenda.

''The strike decision stands as it is,'' V A N Namboodiri, Joint Convener of BSNL and MTNL employees forum said in a statement.

The joint forum has resolved to demand the BSNL board and the DoT to place purchase order for all the 45.5 million GSM lines, as envisaged in the tender originally, or else the developmental activities of BSNL will be jeopardised, he added.

The forum has strongly objected to the decision of the BSNL board not to purchase the 3G equipments now, but only after announcement of the 3G policy by the Government.

Earlier, the Secretary, DoT accompanied by the Director (Operations) and Director (HRD) of BSNL met the Joint Forum leaders and explained about the decision of the BSNL Board on the subject.
