ACB raids residence of suspended Ayurvedic College reader
Nagpur, July 20 (UNI) Sleuths from Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the residence of a suspended reader of the local Government Ayurvedic College and that of his relatives here and in Gadchiroli district today in a case related to alleged amassing of wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to police, the raids were carried out at Pramod Wasudeo Salve's residence in Nagpur, the residence of a relative here and in Gadchiroli district, the offices of a society and of a private nursing office there and office of the Government Ayurvedic College in Gadchiroli.
Several documents related to the case were seized during the raids, which began early this morning and continued till late evening, the police said.
Salve also faces charges of obtaining a job on the basis of a fake caste certificate and getting promotion on the basis of a fake handicap certificate, the police added.
