2 state of the art PSV's

New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (GESCL) today said its subsidiary Greatship Global Offshore Services Pte Ltd has signed a contract to build two new multi-purpose platform supply and support vessels (PSVs) with Singapore-based Keppel Singmarine Pte Ltd.

The vessels are expected to join the company's fleet by Q2FY 2009-10 and are of 4600+ dwt, fitted with DP-2 and have diesel electric propulsion, said a statement.

The vessels, which are also prepared for helideck and offshore crane, are larger and technologically more advanced than any PSV currently operational in the Indian waters, the statement added.
