Sainik Welfare Board distributes cheques to war widows

Moga, July 19 (UNI) Deputy Commissioner Dr Arwinder Singh today in a function, organised by the District Sainik Welfare Board here, distributed cheques to the war widows.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner lauded the role of all the war heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country.

According to an official release, four war widows were given cheques of Rs 5000 each and one war widow was helped with Rs 2000.
