Rupee opens weak at 40.43/50 per US dollar
Mumbai, July 19: The rupee today opened further weak at 40.4350 per US dollar as compared to the previous close of 40.40.
In early trade, the unit is trading at 40.3975, which is the highest recorded so far, a dealer with a bank said.
The rupee is likely to stabilise in the range of 40.25-40.75 levels unless further intervention comes from the Reserve Bank side, he added.
