Mumbai, July 19 (UNI) Maharashtra deputy chief minister R R Patil today said the government had received the report of the committee, appointed to inquire into sale-purchase of properties worth crores of Rupees by DGP Dr P S Pasricha, and it will be tabled before the House next week.

Replying to a question by Nitin Gadkari (BJP) and others, Mr Patil said on April 13 he himself had made the announcement of the formation of the committee to inquire into the issue.

The committee was headed by Chief Secretary. Additional Chief Secretary (General Administration) and DGP anti-corruption were the other members of the committee.

He said the report was under scrutiny and it will be tabled before the House next week.

Dr Pasricha's sale and purchase of various properties became quite controversial and Mr Gadkari had raised the issue.
