New Delhi, July 19: Leading Construction firm Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) today said it has registered a 139.83 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 376.85 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 157.13 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The total income also rose from Rs 3,541.94 crore in Q1FY06 to Rs 4,716.68 crore during Q1FY07, a press release said.
