Gujarat Assembly adjourned after paying tributes to Chandra Shekhar

Gandhinagar, July 19 (UNI) The Gujarat Assembly was adjourned today after paying tributes to former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar and former Speaker of the Assembly Natwarlal Shah.

As soon as the House assembled today, rich tributes were paid to the departed leaders and, thereafter, Speaker Mangaldas Patel adjourned the House without transacting any business.

Polling for Presidental elections is also being held today in the committee room of the Assembly.

The Governor had convened a two-day Monsoon Session of the Assembly starting today.
