Ambala Railway Div to run UTS at 50 stations
Ambala, July 19 (UNI) The Ambala Railway Division has decided to run Unreserved Ticket Systems (UTSs) at 50 Railway stations for the facility of the public in purchasing tickets for railway journey.
The Divisional Senior Commercial Manager Karan Singh said here today that the new UTSs have been introduced in view of the increasing rush at the booking offices at the stations.
He disclosed that at present 53 terminals were working at 19 UTSs. A total of 305 trains, both express and passenger, pass through 139 stations under the Division.
