Up to 12 Pakistani soldiers killed in attack-officials

MIRANSHAH, Pakistan, July 18 (Reuters) Militants attacked a convoy of Pakistani security forces in the North Waziristan region near the Afghan border today killing up to 12 soldiers, intelligence officials said.

''Up to a dozen soldiers have been killed and 10 wounded,'' an intelligence official said.
