University fee structure in higher education institutions

Lucknow, July 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has decided to implement University Fee Structure in higher education institutions of the state.

UP higher education minister du Rakesh Dhar Tripathi said the structure of fee in universities had deteriorated over the years and extreme disparities had crept in. The Universities and colleges had started charging more fee than prescribed.

For removing the disparity, the state government has decided for parity of fee in Universities and its affiliated degree colleges.

The government will set up a committee to study and recommend a uniform fee structure all over the state.

Dr Tripathi also informed that the government had sanctioned 25 per cent more seats in graduate level classes and evening classes during the current year.
