Ultras blow up block office in Jharkhand

Bokaro, July 18: More than a 100 armed CPI(Maiost) activists blew up newly constructed building of Gomia block office in this district late last night, police today said.

Suprintendent of police Priya Dubey said the block office building was damaged by the ultras, who triggred the explosion at about 2130 hrs last night.

Ms Dubey said ultras also abducted five youths, who were later on released in nearby forest areas.

The ultras shouted anti-police slogans and pasted posters near the spot before leaving.

Police were conducting raids to nab the culprits, the SP added.
