Three Sacha Sauda followers injured in clash in Punjab

Ludhiana, July 18 (UNI) Three followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect sustained minor injuries when they were attacked by Akali Dal members in Lahora village on Gill road here today.

According to the police the clash took place when a group of Akali activists attacked Dera followers participating in a religious ceremony at the house of one Mukhtiar Singh. Three persons including Mukhtiar Singh sustained minor injuries which did not require hospitalisation.

The police has registered a case under sections 506, 323 and 452 of the IPC against three of the attackers. No arrests had been made.
