Suicide blast hits diplomat's vehicle in Kabul
KABUL, July 18 (Reuters) A suicide bomber targetted a diplomatic convoy in the outskirts of the Afghan capital, Kabul, today, wounding at least one Afghan civilian, police and witnesses said.
NATO troops blocked the site of the blast on a main road leading out to the west of the city soon after the attack.
A diplomatic car in the small convoy was badly damaged, but it was not immediately clear if there were any casualties among its occupants.
The convoy apparently belonged to the Turkish embassy, who could not be immediately contacted for comment.
