SP MLA declared mafia

Sultanpur, July 18 (UNI) The district police has proclaimed a Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA and his sibling, who are the main accused in Sant Gyaneshwar murder case, as mafias.

SP MLA from Isauli constituency Chandrabhadra Singh Monu has been declared an active mafia, while his brother Yashhadra Singh Monu, who is also a block pramukh, has been proclaimed as the mafia kingpin.

The duo, accused in Sant Gyaneshwar murder case, are at present behind bars in Naini jail.

Police said 13 and 17 criminal cases were registered against Monu and Sonu respectively.
